Watch: Thick smoke billows from South Korea car parts plant in deadly fire

Rescuers recovered the bodies of at least 10 people killed in a huge fire at a car parts plant in South Korea’s central city of Daejeon. Four others are still missing and 59 were injured.

Videos show huge flames and thick smoke pouring from the building, with firefighters struggling to contain the blaze.

Firefighters said they were unable to enter the structure earlier due to concerns it would collapse.

An overnight search operation began for those missing, after the building was deemed safe to enter. Authorities did not immediately confirm the cause of the blaze, but said it appeared to have spread rapidly.
